The Troy O’Neile team will have up to three runners on Tamworth Cup Day, with last-start winner Hinto, along with Tricia’s Rainbow and Rubilicious, going around on their home deck on Friday.

Hinto will be O’Neile’s final runner on the big eight-race program when taking on the $50,000 Country Magic Class One Handicap (1400m).

Angel Brennan, who helped the 3YO Redente gelding to an impressive win in the $50,000 Super Maiden (1200m) on April 10, keeps the ride.

The Tamworth galloper steps up in distance but will have to contend with an awkward draw when coming out of gate ten.

Kicking off the stable’s day will be Tricia’s Rainbow, ridden by Jenny Duggan in the 2YO Romantic Dream (1400m).

The $35,000 feature race for the babies, Tricia’s Rainbow arrives here after finishing down the track in the $200,000 Wellington Boot (1100m) on April 12.

An impressive maiden winner back in February, and with an engine to boot, connections will be confident of an improved effort on her home track, despite the Gold Standard filly also drawing awkwardly with gate 10.

Rubilicious has drawn favourably in gate three in the $50,000 Super Maiden Plate (1000m).

The 6YO Rubick mare was prominent last time out, leading them up before tiring in the final stages when beaten only two lengths in a 900m Maiden Plate at Muswellbrook on April 6.

Jenny Duggan stays in the saddle, and Rubilicious should strip fitter for the run and will benefit from being on her home track when second-up over the five-furlong journey.

On Saturday, the stable’s focus turns to Armidale, where another last-start winner will go around.

Emerald Invasion, who won his maiden at Warialda earlier this month, finds a nice 1400m Class One Handicap.
